How Do I Import Posts via the Zapier Integration?

We already have several ways of importing content to our platform, such as CSV Imports, adding links in bulks, or even uploading several videos and images at once, but what if we told you that you can use Zapier too?

In order to start using it, you first need to create a free Zapier account and from there you can jump right in.

Building your Zap will take several steps, as follows:

• Selecting the app you want to gather information from;
• Selecting your SocialBee account and setup;
• Setting up the details of how a post should look;
• Testing your trigger;
• Do a celebratory dance! 🙌

Selecting the App You Want as a Trigger

The first thing you have to do when you build a new zap is to choose the app and the event that will trigger it. In this example, we are using an Evernote post that will be added to SocialBee, but you can choose any app from their many integrations. You can see the complete list by clicking here.

Once you've decided on the app, you'll have to choose a trigger event from a drop-down list, and then give Zapier the access to see the information in your account.

Once you clicked on "Sign In", a new window will open where you will have to grant your app all the permissions necessary. Make sure you're logged in to all the right accounts when you're doing this. From there, all you have to do is select the account from which you want to pull data and test your trigger.

Setting up Socialbee as Your Action

After you have created your trigger, you will be prompted to create a second step as your action. The first thing you will have to do is look up SocialBee and select it from the list.

Once that's done, you will have to select your action event which, in SocialBee's case, can only be one: Create Post.

Setting up the Details of a Post

The next section is setting up how your posts will be imported. This can be different for every single app you want to connect with SocialBee, but the most important part is selecting the right workspace, category, and profiles.

Testing Your Trigger

Once you finish the setup, all you have to do is click on "Continue". Zapier will gather the data and, if everything is successful, you'll be able to create a test post in your account. Click on "Test and Continue" to finish the zap.

With a successful test, all you have to do is turn on your zap or add more steps to it.
