Welcome! How can we help?

How Do I Post a First Comment to Instagram?

You can now choose to share the first comment to your scheduled post for Instagram using our First Comment feature for Instagram Business Profiles. You can now add hashtags, extra information, and more details that didn't fit in your post's caption.

If you post to your Instagram directly via SocialBee, you can now choose to share the first comment to your scheduled post. All you have to do is edit the post (or create a new one), select the profile(s) you want to share it to, and add your caption and image.

Once you've done that click on "Customize for each profile" and open the Instagram one. Right under your text editor, you'll see the option "Add first comment to this post". When toggled to the left (or when it's red), there will be no comment to be shared. When toggled to the right (or when it's green), you'll be able to add your comment and save the post.

Adding Hashtag Collections to Comments

If you have any Hashtag Collections saved in SocialBee, you will be able to add them to your comments by clicking on the # symbol and then selecting the one you'd like to paste there.

How to add hashtags to an Instagram first comment?

To add a series of hashtags to your content, you must first click "Add new post" at the top of your SocialBee dashboard, or directly from your content category. After you select your Instagram Business Profile(s) (this will not work with posts sent via Reminders), you need to follow these steps:

1. Add your caption and/or your image(s);
2. Click "Customize for each profile";

Enable the first comment;

Click the wand icon.

Once you clicked on the wand, within seconds, you will see the hashtags added in the first comment text box.
