Integrations: How Do I Use Canva in SocialBee?

You can now connect your Canva account directly to SocialBee and import your designs into your social posts in just a few clicks. This help article walks you through connecting your account, browsing your designs, and importing them into your posts.

Connect Your Canva Account to SocialBee

Before you can use Canva designs in your posts, you need to connect your account securely via OAuth.

  1. Go to SocialBee.
  2. Open the Post Editor by clicking the "Create Post" button.
  3. Click the Canva icon to open Canva.
  4. Click Connect Canva Account.
  5. You’ll be redirected to Canva to authorize access.
  6. Log in to your Canva account (if needed).
  7. Click Allow to grant permissions.

Once connected, your Canva account will be securely linked to SocialBee.

⚠️ Important: The Canva integration is available only in the New Post Editor. If you are using the old Post Editor, you will see a prompt with steps to switch to the new and improved Post Editor.


Browse Your Canva Designs

After connecting your account:

  1. Open the Post Editor by clicking the "Create Post" button.
  2. Click on the Canva icon to open Canva.
  3. Browse your:
    • Folders
    • Subfolders
    • Saved designs
  4. Click on any design to preview it.
  5. Select the pages you want added to the SocialBee Post Editor, with support for multiple file formats that are compatible with SocialBee, including JPG, PNG, PDF, PPTX, GIF, and MP4 videos.
Newly created or updated pages, designs, or folders inside Canva may take a few minutes to appear in SocialBee. If you’ve recently made changes, allow a few minutes for the latest designs to sync and appear.

Reconnect or Disconnect Canva from SocialBee

You can manage your connection to Canva from your SocialBee Workspace settings.

  • If your account is not connected, click Connect to link your Canva account.
  • If your account is already connected, click Disconnect to remove the current connection.
