Connect your Bluesky profile to SocialBee
A. Retrieve App Password from Bluesky. This step is optional: You can connect your account using your Bluesky password, too.
To connect your Bluesky profile to SocialBee without sharing the credentials with your social media manager, you can generate an app password in Bluesky.
Follow these steps:
1. Enter your Bluesky account and navigate to Settings.
2. Go to Privacy and Security, then click on "App passwords".
3. Go to "App passwords".
4. Click on "Add App Password".
5. Add a unique name for the app password, then tick the box to allow access to direct messages.
6. Click on "Next".
7. Copy the generated app password.
8. Finally, click on "Done".
B. Connect your profile in SocialBee
If you've decided to use the generated app password, head back to your SocialBee dashboard to complete the setup.
Follow these steps:
1. Go to the SocialBee dashboard here, scroll to the "Connect an account" section to add your Bluesky profile.
2. You will be prompted to add your Bluesky handle ( add the handle without @) and the app password you generated.
3. Click on "Connect".
