Posting to Twitter
Connect your Twitter to SocialBee
Connecting your Twitter to SocialBee can be done in 2 ways:
A. Connect your Twitter app (lifetime customers)
B. Connect your Twitter profile (monthly and yearly customers)
The type of SocialBee license you have determines the best way to connect your Twitter profile.
Monthly and Yearly License trial users and customers can simply connect their Twitter profiles and have access to direct posting.
Lifetime License Customers can:
→ Connect their profile and post via Reminders
→ Connect their own Twitter app and post directly
A. Connect your Twitter App to SocialBee
B. Connect your Twitter Profile to SocialBee
Click on the interactive screen below to see the steps, or scroll down to the written instructions.
Go to the SocialBee dashboard, and scroll to the bottom of the page to connect your Twitter Profile.
You will be prompted to sign in to your Twitter profile, and then to authorize SocialBee to post for you.
Once you've connected your account, you'll be able to see it in the SocialBee dashboard.
Posting Directly vs Reminders
Sharing content on Twitter can be done in three ways:
- By posting directly from SocialBee's web app;
- Via Reminders, with our companion mobile app;
- Through Zapier, Pabbly, or Buffer integrations.
Posting to Twitter via Reminders
If you have a Lifetime License and do not wish to create a Twitter app, your tweets will be automatically set to publish via Reminders.
In order to post via Reminders, set up your SocialBee companion mobile app. Read more about this here →
In your category view, right next to the Twitter profile icon, you will see a mobile phone. This indicates that your post will be sent via Reminders.
You will receive a notification when it's time to post. Open the notification and you will be able to preview the post details in the SocialBee mobile app.
Tap on "Share post" and you will receive confirmation that your caption was copied.
Then, you will be prompted to select the app to post on. Clicking on the Twitter icon will open the app where your caption and image will have been imported.
Once you finish editing your post, click on "Tweet".
Can I set up auto-retweets from relevant Twitter Accounts?
We do not support auto-retweeting just yet, unfortunately.
The best way you can do that is to log into your Twitter and manually retweet what you want. For now, if you want to retweet certain posts, you will have to do it the old way or via your TweetDeck.
