How to schedule TikTok posts
Do you use the TikTok mobile app to post your content? If so, you’re probably tired of having to be online every time you want to post.
With SocialBee’s TikTok scheduler, you can plan your content ahead of time and let it post automatically, whether you’re on vacation, out of the office, or just busy tackling other important tasks on your to-do list.
Here’s how to easily schedule TikTok posts from SocialBee:
- Click “Create post” at the top of your dashboard to open the Post Editor and share a new video.
- Select your TikTok profile from the left sidebar.
- SocialBee automatically enables the “Customize each” option so you can access TikTok-specific content creation settings, including privacy controls (Public, Mutual Follow Friends, or Only me).
- Allow users to comment, duet, or stitch your video by checking the corresponding boxes.
- (Optional) Turn on the “Content disclosure” toggle and select the appropriate label: “Your brand,” “Branded content,” or both. This will apply the correct disclosure, such as “Promotional content” or “Paid partnership.” Discover more about the content disclosure setting later in the article.
- Upload videos or photos you want to use in your post.
- Select a frame from your video as a thumbnail to make sure it looks nice on your profile.
- Type your video description directly in the text box, or click the AI button to generate a TikTok caption automatically.
- Use the Hashtag Generator (wand and hashtag icon) to find relevant hashtags. You can also save hashtag sets for future use by clicking the “#” icon.
- Style your text with bold, italic, or strikethrough, and include emojis to match your brand voice.
- Add your post to a post category (folder) to keep your TikTok content organized within your content calendar. Creating a category for every post type you share really helps you maintain a diverse content mix.
- Choose “Post now” or “Post at a specific time.”
- If you choose to schedule your post, SocialBee will suggest the best posting times based on your past content performance to help you reach your audience when they are most active.
- Turn on “Re-queue after posting” to keep your queue active and maintain consistency. You can also set your post to expire on a specific date automatically.
- View how your TikTok post will look on the main feed and make any final edits before scheduling.
- Toggle between “This is approved” and “This is a draft.”
- When set to “This is approved,” the post will publish automatically at the scheduled time.
- If you switch to “This is a draft,” the post will stay in your drafts until your team reviews it to make sure you haven’t made any mistakes.
- Click “Create Post.” Your scheduled video will be published automatically by SocialBee at your chosen date and time.

The content disclosure setting
To attract more transparency on the platform, TikTok has introduced a setting that allows creators to disclose whether their content is promotional or not. This feature is also available in SocialBee.
After creating a post, toggle on "Content disclosure" found under the text box in your Post Editor.
Depending on your selection, various labels will be applied to your published video:
- "Your brand" → The "Promotional content" label will be added.
- "Branded content" → The "Paid partnership" label will be applied.
- "Your brand" and "Branded content" → The video will be labeled as "Paid partnership."
| ⚠️ Note: Once you toggle on "Content disclosure", you will have to choose at least one of the available options, or you will receive the following error: You need to indicate if your content promotes yourself, a third party, or both. |
Posting to TikTok via Reminders
Whenever your media files exceed TikTok’s posting limits, the post will automatically be set to publish via Reminders, indicated by a mobile phone icon.
Which TikTok posts are published via Reminders instead of directly?
Some TikTok posts can’t be published directly from SocialBee due to TikTok’s current API limitations. When that happens, your post will be published through Mobile Reminders instead.
Your TikTok post will publish via Reminders if it includes:
- Multiple .MP4 videos
- Images with resolutions higher than 1080p and larger than 20MB.
What’s the difference between Direct Publishing and Mobile Reminders?
Direct Publishing means SocialBee uploads your TikTok video automatically at the time you’ve scheduled, no manual action needed. It’s the most convenient option when your clip is already edited and ready to go live exactly as planned.
Mobile Reminders, on the other hand, give you more creative control. Instead of posting automatically, SocialBee sends a push notification through the mobile app when it’s time to publish.
You’ll then open TikTok to post manually, which lets you add trending sounds or music, apply native filters or voice effects, and make any last-minute edits before sharing.
In short, Direct Publishing saves time, while Mobile Reminders give you the flexibility to fine-tune your post right before it goes live.
