Welcome! How can we help?

How to enable, pause, or unsubscribe from email notifications and updates

What are email notifications?

Email notifications are messages sent by SocialBee to keep you informed about important activity in your workspace. They help you stay on top of things and quickly take action if something needs your attention.

For example, you might receive notifications about:

  • Posts that failed to publish
  • Social accounts that need to be reconnected
  • Successful imports (media, URLs, or CSV files)
  • Bulk edits completed with the Bulk Editor
  • Content categories that have become empty
  • Comments or mentions on posts you follow
  • New activity in your Engage dashboard
  • Your weekly analytics report

These emails are directly related to how your SocialBee account is working.

How to pause email notifications

If you want to temporarily stop receiving certain email notifications, you can turn them off from your workspace notification settings.

Follow these steps:

  1. Click on your user profile in the top-right corner of your SocialBee dashboard.
  2. Click “Workspace Settings.”

  1. From the left sidebar, select “Notification Settings.”

  1. Toggle off the notifications you want to stop receiving.

You can re-enable these notifications at any time by returning to the same settings and toggling them back on.

⚠️ Important: Some notifications are always enabled for security and account management purposes:

  • If your account gets locked
  • If you need to reconnect a social profile

These notifications cannot be turned off.

What are marketing emails?

Marketing emails are different from product notifications. They’re occasional emails sent to share updates, resources, or news from SocialBee.

These might include:

  • Product updates or new feature announcements
  • Social media tips, guides, and helpful resources
  • Webinar invitations
  • Newsletters or special promotions

How to unsubscribe from marketing emails

Marketing emails (such as newsletters, promotions, or announcements) are managed separately from product notifications.

To stop receiving marketing emails, click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any marketing email.
