Facebook Permissions

The first time you connect a Facebook Page to SocialBee, you will be prompted to allow us the access necessary to your profile so we can post on your behalf. On this screen, you have the option to change the permissions you give us on your profile. However, when you do that, you remove the necessary steps that allow us to send your post through or connect other pages you might need later on.

When this happens, you will get the "Insufficient Permission" error when trying to post or you won't be able to see certain Facebook Pages you manage in your list. 

What do I do if I can't see all my pages?

If you want to add a new Facebook Page, but can't see it in your list of managed pages in SocialBee, you need to first make sure you're an admin of the page you want to connect with the Facebook Personal Profile you're logged into.

Once you've checked that but still can't see the page, go to your Facebook Business Integrations and search for SocialBee. You should be able to see it in your Active tab.

Once you locate it, tick the box on the right side and then press the remove button. You will be prompted to remove the integration and you will have to confirm this with one more click. Once that's done, within seconds, you'll be able to see a popup confirming these changes.

If you tick the "Delete posts, videos or events that SocialBee posted on your timeline" all posts made by SocialBee to all your pages will be removed and it is impossible to get them back. We do not recommend checking this 

Insufficient permissions error

If you've ever noticed a post fail with this error message for your Facebook Page, it means that SocialBee does not have sufficient permissions in your Business Integrations.

To fix this, the easiest way to regain them is to completely remove the SocialBee app from your Facebook and reconnect your accounts to SocialBee (make sure you don't have a lot of content assigned to your Facebook profile/page when doing this). To do that, check the checkbox next to SocialBee, and then click on the Remove button at the top. 

Once you've done this, you'll have to come back into SocialBee and reconnect your Facebook account. 

Make sure you don't change any of the requested permissions and you're all set. Happy posting!

Facebook Page reconnection error

If you’re having trouble reconnecting your Facebook Page, it usually means SocialBee doesn’t have access to the correct Meta portfolio (Business Manager) where the page is located. To fix this, you’ll need to make sure the right permissions are enabled and then reconnect the account.

You can do this in two ways 👇

Option 1: Reconnect from SocialBee

  1. Log in to SocialBee and go to your “Social Accounts.”

  2. Find the Facebook Page you want to reconnect and click "Reconnect."

  3. Click "Edit settings."

  4. Make sure SocialBee has access to everything it needs. Enable "Opt in to all current and future Pages."

  5. Next, enable "Opt in to all current and future Businesses."

  6. Click "Continue," then "Save," and finally "Got it" to complete the reconnection.

Option 2: Remove and reconnect your Facebook page

  1. Go to your Facebook account settings and open the Business Integrations dashboard.

  2. Click "Remove" next to SocialBee.

  3. Log in to SocialBee and go to your “Social Accounts.”
  4. Find the Facebook Page you want to reconnect and click "Reconnect."
  5. Click "Edit settings."
  6. Make sure SocialBee has access to everything it needs. Enable "Opt in to all current and future Pages."
  7. Next, enable "Opt in to all current and future Businesses."
  8. Click "Continue," then "Save," and finally "Got it." to complete the reconnection.
