The Concierge Migration is the process of transferring your social media setup from a different scheduling or management platform to SocialBee.
Depending on the tools you’re migrating from, the process is done either through automated CSV imports or, when that’s not supported, through a manual post-by-post transfer to ensure accuracy and consistency.
1. Migration via CSV Files includes:
- Downloading CSV files if necessary
- Support with formatting the CSV file
- Importing content via CSV (captions, images, videos)
- Removing duplicates where necessary
- Email communication
- Potential coordination meetings
- Fixing import issues
- Categories setup
- Schedule setup
- Publish dates and times
- RSS feeds setup
- Checks and QA
- Migration report
Our main focus is on upcoming scheduled content rather than migrating the full historical archive from previous years.
The number of posts migrated within the allocated time depends heavily on the complexity of the migration, the quality/structure of the exported data, and the amount of manual adjustments required after import.
The migration is capped at 8 working hours. In general, this usually allows for approximately 150–500 posts to be migrated via CSV import workflows.

1. What are CSV files?
A CSV (Comma Separated Values) file is a simple spreadsheet-like file format used to store structured data such as post captions, publish dates, platforms, media URLs, categories, and scheduling information.
For post migrations, CSV files allow us to bulk import large amounts of scheduled content from one scheduling tool into another instead of recreating each post manually. This significantly speeds up the migration process when supported by both platforms.
2. What if I cannot download my posts in a CSV file?
If the export option is not directly available within your scheduling tool, it is often still possible to request the CSV export directly from the platform’s support team. In many cases, they can generate the export on their side and send it to you manually.
Where possible, we can also assist with identifying export options or guiding the process.
3. Can you still migrate posts without a CSV file?
Yes, if CSV export is not available, posts can still be migrated manually. But because manual migration is significantly more time-consuming, the number of posts that can be migrated within the allocated timeframe is considerably lower compared to CSV-based migrations.
4. How long will the migration take?
Most migrations are completed within approximately 3 to 10 working days, depending on the volume of posts being migrated, the complexity of the migration, and the number of errors or manual adjustments required.
5. Do I need to keep my subscription with the current platform active for the duration of the migration?
Yes, we recommend keeping your current scheduling platform subscription active until the migration has been fully completed and verified.
This helps ensure:
- Continued access to your scheduled content
- The ability to export/download data if needed
- Easier troubleshooting in case issues arise
- Verification that all posts were transferred correctly
Cancelling the subscription too early may result in limited access to your content or prevent additional exports and fixes if necessary.
