How to Reconnect a Social Account in SocialBee

If one of your social media accounts becomes disconnected from SocialBee, you’ll see a Reconnect option. Reconnecting the account restores the connection and allows SocialBee to continue publishing to it.

There are two ways to reconnect an account:

Option 1: Reconnect from the Dashboard

If an account needs to be reconnected, you may see a red Reconnect button directly on your SocialBee Dashboard.

  1. Log in to your SocialBee account.
  2. Find the social account that needs attention.
  3. Click the red Reconnect button.
  4. Follow the prompts to authorize SocialBee again.
  5. Once the process is complete, the account should be connected again.

Tip: Make sure you're logged in to the correct social media account before you begin the reconnection process. For pages or business accounts, you may also need to have the appropriate administrator permissions.

Option 2: Reconnect from the Social Accounts page

You can also reconnect an account directly from your Social Accounts page.

  1. Go to Dashboard in your SocialBee account.
  2. Click the Social Accounts button
  3. Click the Reconnect button next to the account.
  4. Follow the instructions provided by the social network to authorize SocialBee.
  5. Once authorization is complete, your account should be reconnected.

SocialBee may require you to reconnect an account when the authorization has expired or when access to the social profile has been lost. Social platforms periodically require users to reauthorize third-party applications for security reasons.

Important

When reconnecting an account, make sure you:

  • Are logged in to the correct social media account.
  • Have the necessary admin or account permissions if you're reconnecting a Page or Business account.
  • Approve the permissions requested by SocialBee.

If you're still unable to reconnect the account after following these steps, contact our Support team and include a screenshot of any error message you're seeing.
