Daily social media posting limits by platform

How many posts you can publish through SocialBee in a day depends on the social media platform you're using.

Right now, TikTok and Pinterest have a limit of 25 posts per account per day.

Daily social media posting limits applied by SocialBee

You can publish up to 25 posts per day, per account, on TikTok and Pinterest through SocialBee. Each account has its own limit. If you manage two Pinterest accounts, for example, you can publish 25 posts per day on each one.

What happens if you go over your daily posting limit?

If you go over the daily limit, the extra posts will show up in your Failed Posts tab.

There are two situations to keep in mind:

  • For TikTok and Pinterest: SocialBee limits you to 25 posts per account per day. Any posts over that number will fail.
  • For the other platforms: You can still go over the recommended limits, but the social network might reject your posts.

If one of your posts fails because you've reached the limit, you can try publishing it again once the limit resets.

Recommended daily social media posting limits

For the platforms where we don't apply limits yet, we recommend the following number of posts per day:

Facebook Pages

Instagram

50 posts

Threads

250 posts

X (Twitter)

50 posts

LinkedIn profiles and Pages

For now, you can publish more than these amounts through SocialBee. However, the social media platform may block extra posts if you publish too many in one day.

Do posts published outside SocialBee count toward the daily limits?

No, SocialBee only counts posts published through SocialBee.

However, social media platforms may have their own posting limits that count all your posts, including those you publish natively.
