Question
What counts as an edit in the ConciergeBee Video First Specialist plan?
Answer
An edit is a single, specific change you request to a piece of content after it has been delivered. Each edit applies to one post (or one clearly defined element) and can usually be completed with a few quick adjustments.
What counts as 1 edit
Small, focused changes count as one edit each. For example:
- Text changes (hook, captions, CTA)
- Small timing adjustments
- A music swap
- Color or light corrections
- Subtitle tweaks
- Replacing 1-2 short clips
What does not count as an edit
Some requests change the direction of the content instead of refining it. These are not edits. They count as a new video, which is planned and delivered as part of your regular content rounds. For example:
- A new angle, tone, or idea: "Can we make this video funny instead of serious?"
- A request to redo a piece: "I don't like this post, let's redo it."
Major structural changes
Larger changes that rework the video itself also fall outside a standard edit. These include:
- Reordering most scenes
- Replacing the footage or images used
- Adding significant new content
- Changing the pacing or style entirely
- Changing the storyline
How many edits your plan includes
Your plan includes a weekly edit allowance:
| Plan | Edits per week |
|---|---|
| Video First Specialist Light | 3 |
| Video First Specialist Standard | 4 |
| Video First Specialist Plus | 5 |
💠If you need more edits than your plan includes, you can add extra editing capacity with an add-on of $120, which includes 2 additional edit requests per week. Your specialist can also explain the other options available if your requests go beyond your plan.
Mistakes on our side are always free
Typos, grammar corrections, and mistakes on our part can always be fixed. They never count toward your weekly edit allowance, no matter how many posts are affected.
Tips to get the most out of your edits
- Share materials, examples, and a clear concept from the start. This helps avoid major re-edits later.
- If you rely on your specialist for creative direction, use your feedback to refine and improve future videos instead of redoing existing ones.
- Keep each request specific and group your notes by post. For example, "Change the CTA to 'Book now'" is clearer than "Make the ending stronger."
- Expect the first few rounds to be a learning phase. It is normal to have more suggestions while you get familiar with the process.
