How to post on X (Twitter)

SocialBee makes it easy to create, schedule, and publish posts on X (formerly Twitter) from one content calendar. You can post text, images, videos, GIFs, and links directly from your dashboard, all while collaborating with your team, interacting with your audience, and keeping track of your Twitter analytics.

It’s the ideal Twitter scheduling tool for anyone who wants to post consistently, save time, and manage multiple accounts across different social media platforms efficiently.

What types of X (Twitter) posts can I manage with SocialBee?

With SocialBee, you can start scheduling tweets in almost every format supported by X.

With SocialBee, you can schedule the following X post types:

  • Text posts: Write and publish plain text posts to share updates, opinions, or interesting facts directly from SocialBee.
  • Images: You can upload up to four photos per post, with each image up to 3 MB.
  • GIFs: You can add up to four GIFs per post, with a maximum file size of 15 MB each.
  • Video tweets: You can upload one video per post, up to 512 MB in size and 2 minutes and 20 seconds in length. Direct posting is supported for video posts as well.
  • Links: Include links anywhere in your caption to drive traffic or share resources with your Twitter community.

Posting manually to X can eat a lot of your time. Start creating tweets ahead of time and publish seamlessly with SocialBee.

What are the text character limits on X (Twitter) in SocialBee?

When you post a tweet through SocialBee, the character limit depends on your account type:

  • If you have an X Premium account, you can create and publish posts up to 25,000 characters long directly in SocialBee.
  • For standard (non-Premium) accounts, the limit remains 280 characters per post.

In your SocialBee dashboard, Premium accounts are marked with a blue checkmark or display the label “Twitter Premium Account” when you hover over the X logo. This makes it easy to verify whether you’re using a Premium account before scheduling.
