What is a Workspace?
When working with different clients or multiple businesses, we recommend you manage each client's social media profile separately.
The solution? Workspaces—you can think of Workspaces as buckets (part of the same main account) for each client.
How should I use a Workspace?
Let's use an example: if you have 3 businesses, you can choose to have a Workspace for each of those 3.
- This is not mandatory, you can decide to have all 15 accounts connected in one Workspace.
- If you have to manage 15 accounts, this means the Pro plan is best for you.
- Our Pro plan offers you 5 Workspaces and 3 users per Workspace.
- Instead of struggling to filter and assign content to only some profiles (out of all 15), you can connect each business' respective social accounts to dedicated workspaces.
How many Workspaces and Users do I get?
Depending on your plan, here's how many Workspaces and Users (per Workspace) you have:

How do I switch between Workspaces?
The Workspace you're in when you create a SocialBee account is your Default Workspace.
In order to switch to another Workspace, please follow these steps:
Go to https://app.socialbee.com/ and click on your profile in the top-right corner of the screen.
Click on the “Switch Workspace” button.
Select your desired Workspace.
How do I create a Workspace?
In order to create a new Workspace, please follow these steps:
Go to https://app.socialbee.com/ and click on your profile in the top-right corner of the screen.
Click on the “Switch Workspace” button.
Click on “Create new workspace”.
You'll be prompted to add a name to your new workspace.
Hit “Create”, and you'll be redirected to your new workspace.
You can now add profiles, create content, and schedule it for this new Workspace.
How do I edit my Workspace?
By going to your Workspace Settings, you can:
- Edit your Workspace's name
- Edit your Workspace's icon
- Change your Default Workspace
- Change your short link Workspace settings
- Delete your Workspace

1. How to edit your Workspace name
- Log in to SocialBee and click your username in the top-right corner.
- If you have multiple workspaces, go to the "My Workspace" section and switch to the workspace you want to rename.
- Click your username again in the top-right corner, then select "Workspace Settings."
- Under "Workspace name," enter the new name for your workspace.
- Click "Update" to save your changes.
2. How to edit your Workspace icon
- Log in to SocialBee and click your username in the top-right corner.
- If you have multiple workspaces, go to the "My Workspaces" section and switch to the workspace whose icon you want to change.
- Click your username again in the top-right corner, then select "Workspace Settings."
- Click the existing workspace image and upload your new image.
- Click "Update" to save your changes.
3. How to change your default Workspace
- Log in to SocialBee and click your username in the top-right corner.
- Go to the "My Workspace" section and switch to the workspace you want to set as the default.
- Click your username again in the top-right corner, then select "Workspace Settings."
- Click "Make workspace default" in the top-right corner of the page and confirm your changes.
4. How to change your short link Workspace settings
- Log in to SocialBee and click your username in the top-right corner.
- Go to the "My Workspace" section and switch to the workspace you want to make changes to.
- Click your username again in the top-right corner, then select "Workspace Settings."
- On the right side of the page, under "Default short link", open the dropdown menu and choose one of the available options:
- No short link
- SocialBee’s default shortener
- A third-party URL shortener you already use
- If your preferred URL shortener is not yet connected, scroll down to the integrations section, click "Connect" next to it, then return to the "Default short link" dropdown and select it.
- Click "Update Shortlink Settings" to save your changes.
5. Delete your Workspace
- Log in to SocialBee and click your username in the top-right corner.
- Go to the “My Workspace” section and switch to the correct workspace if you have multiple.
- Click your username again in the top-right corner, then select “Workspace Settings.”
- Scroll to the bottom of the page and click “Delete Workspace.”
⚠️ Please note:
- A default workspace cannot be deleted.
- To delete a default workspace, you first need to set another workspace as the default.
ℹ️ If the "Delete Workspace" button is disabled:
- Go to your profile (top-right corner) → "My Workspace" and switch to another workspace.
- Go to your profile → "Workspace Settings."
- In the top-right corner, click "Make workspace default" and confirm your changes.
- Return to the workspace you want to delete.
- Go again to "Workspace Settings" and click "Delete Workspace."
